Tim Gautreaux (1947, Morgan City, Luisiana), es autor de varios libros de relato breve y de dos novelas. Sus trabajos han sido publicados en The New Yorker, The Best American Short Stories, The Atlantic, Harper?s y GQ. Entre los premios que ha recibido destacan en 1999 el SEBA Book Award y en 2005 el John Dos Passos Book Prize. Su obra ha sido traducida a varios idiomas. El mismo sitio, las mismas cosas, fue publicada por esta editorial en 2018. Durante treinta an?os fue profesor en Southeastern Louisiana University. Actualmente vive junto a su esposa en Chattanooga, Tennessee.
