Rabih Alameddine nació en Jordania en 1959, pero es libanés. Creció entre Kuwait, Líbano e Inglaterra, y a los diecisiete años ingresó en la Universidad de California, en Los Ángeles.Ha obtenido un graduado en ingeniería y un máster en marketing. A lo largo de su vida ha trabajado como ingeniero, consultor,camarero, profesor, pintor y escultor. Es autor de Koolaids: The Art of War, aclamadapor la crítica, y The Perv.
