BUNNAG, TEW
En aquesta història, Tew Bunnag ens parla d'aquella estranya i meravellosa energia que senten els qui acompanyen la persona que està morint, tan sols comparable a la que sent aquell qui està al costat d'un nadó naixent. Tew Bunnag (Bangkok, 1947) alterna el seu temps entre Catalunya i Tailàndia, on hi treballa activament en la seva fundació que acull i té cura de malalts en fase terminal, persones amb SIDA i infants dels ravals Bangkok. Va viure intensament el tràgic tsunami que arrasà el seu país l'any 2004.
El temps del lotus ens ofereix un relat generós i emotiu, amb mirada oriental, per ajudar-nos a entendre el temps de la mort i el dol pels éssers estimats. En paraules de l'autor, «ha estat un honor poder acompanyar els nens en la seva mort perquè m'han ajudat a eixamplar el cor».

Tew Bunnag was born in Bangkok in 1947. He studied Chinese in Taibei Shi Fan Da Xue in Taiwan and went on to study Chinese and Economics in Cambridge University, graduating in 1968. He began teaching Meditation and Taiji in 1975 and became assistant director of Chapter House, a therapeutic community near Cambridge combining Eastern and Western approaches to healing. He has taught continuously since then in the UK, USA, France, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, Spain where he is now based, and Thailand. He is the founder of the European School of Taiji.
