LEONARD COHEN (Mont-real, 1934 – Los Angeles, 2016). Músic i escriptor. La seva carrera artística va començar el 1956 amb la publicació del llibre de poemes Let Us Compare Mythologies. Després publicaria dotze llibres de poesia més, incloent-hi Book of Longing; dues novel·les, The Favourite Game i Bells perdedors; i més recentment, el recull pòstum de poemes, dibuixos i lletres de cançons The Flame. En el camp de la música, Cohen va ser un cantautor enormement influent i valorat. Els catorze àlbums d’estudi que va publicar entre el 1967 i el 2016 el van convertir en una icona de la música del segle xx i començament del xxi.
