Christopher G. Moore, escritor canadiense afincado en Tailandia, fue profesor de derecho en la University of British Columbia. Vivió en Nueva York, donde publicó su primera novela, después se trasladó a Londres y finalmente llegó Bangkok donde reside desde hace 17 años, totalmente seducido por la ciudad más bulliciosa de Asia.
Aclamado por la crítica norteamericana desde sus inicios como escritor en 1985, Moore es autor de 18 novelas entre las que destaca la serie del detective privado Vincent Calvino.
