(Reykjavik, 1961) es historiador, periodista, crítico literario y cinematográfico. Ha trabajado, durante veinte años, principalmente para Morgunbladid, el diario más importante de Islandia. Es autor, entre otrasnovelas negras, de Las marismas (SN, 33), que recibió La Llave de Cristal a la mejor novela policíaca nórdica del año2002, La voz (SN, 42), ganadora del Martin Beck Award a la mejor novela negra traducida al sueco, y El hombre del lago(SN, 75). Con La mujer de verde (SN, 12) obtuvo el Golden Dagger, el prestigioso premio concedido en Gran Bretaña de laCrime Writers Association que ha consagrado a Indridason como un referente de la prestigiosa narrativa negra europea.
