Elsa Osorio (Buenos Aires, 1952) vive en Madrid, donde imparte talleres de narrativa. Ha publicado Ritos Privados, Reina Mugre, Beatriz Guido, Mentir la verdad, Las malas lenguas. Su última novela, A veinte años, Luz, ha sido traducida a dieciséis lenguas. Su obra ha obtenido, entre otros, el Premio Nacional en Argentina, Premio Argentores al mejor guión de Comedia, premio al Periodismo de Humor, Premio Amnesty International, y ha sido finalista del Premio Fémina en Francia.
