Dan Rhodes nació en 1972 en Purley (Gran Bretaña) y estudió Escritura Creativa en la Universidad de Glamorgan. Fue seleccionado por la prestigiosa publicación Granta como uno de los mejores novelistas británicos menores de cuarenta años.
