Pola Oloixarac (Buenos Aires, 1977) es novelista y ensayista. Estudió Filosofía en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Es autora de las novelas Las teorías salvajes, Las constelaciones oscuras y Mona, traducidas a diez lenguas. Escribió el libreto de la ópera Hércules en el Mato Grosso, por encargo del Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón, donde se representó en 2013, y luego en el Dixon Theatre de Nueva York. La revista Granta la nombró en 2010 entre las Mejores Narradoras en Español, y en 2021 recibió el Premio Eccles de la British Library y Hay Festival. Colabora con notas sobre cultura y política en medios internacionales como El País, The New York Times y Folha de Sao Paulo. Actualmente, es columnista en La Nación.
