HAKAN NESSER Håkan Nesser (Kumla, Suecia, 1950) ejerció a lo largo de muchos años de profesor de letras en un instituto. Después del gran éxito de la serie del comisario Van Veeteren, ambientada en la imaginaria ciudad de Maardam, en el norte de Europa, Nesser se ha podido dedicar exclusivamente a la escritura y ha vivido en Nueva York y Londres. Sus novelas, traducidas a once lenguas, lo han convertido en uno de los autores más populares en Suecia donde ha recogido diversos galardones como el Glasnyckeln o el de la Academia Sueca de Escritores de Novela Negra en tres ocasiones.
