There are a lot of books about cocktails out there, but none like this one. It is a distillate of the stories behind the mixes that are known the world over, written by Ramón Úbeda and drawn by Javirroyo, and also explains how Archie makes them at the Dos Billares club at the Casa Camper hotel in Barcelona. It is an illustrated book of recipes for long drinks, short drinks and drinks for everyone, and aims solely to continue to promote the art of cocktail making, but in a more fun, friendly way that makes them easier to remember. They are served with appetisers of alcoholic anecdotes and notes, interlinked with all sorts of figures who inhabit the city that has for many years been our country's creative powerhouse.
Ramón Úbeda es periodista y diseñador, un personaje polifacético que ha colaborado con las revistas españolas y extranjeras más importantes y publicado numerosos libros sobre arquitectura y diseño. Ha sido comisario de exposiciones y desarrolla una amplia actividad profesional como director artístico y consultor en varias compañías de prestigio internacional: Andreu World, BD Barcelona Design, Metalarte y Camper, todas ellas reconocidas con el Premio Nacional de Diseño.
