Andrea Abreu López nació en 1995 en lo alto de un pueblo del norte de Tenerife. Al cumplir los dieciocho, comenzó sus estudios de periodismo en la Universidad de La Laguna (ULL). Después de
incontables cambios de residencia, se mudó a Madrid en el verano de 2017, para cursar el Máster en Periodismo Cultural y Nuevas Tendencias de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC). Desde entonces, ha sido becaria, camarera y dependienta de una famosa marca de lencería.
Como periodista, ha escrito para 20minutos.es, Tentaciones (ELPAÍS), OcultaLit, LOLA (BuzzFeed), Quimera y Vice.
