Woody Allen (su

verdadero nombre es Allen Stewart Konisberg) nació en el barrio de Brooklyn,

Nueva York, en 1935. Showman,

guionista de radio y televisión y autor de teatro, Allen se ha hecho

mundialmente famoso por sus películas, que escribe, dirige



y con frecuencia protagoniza.

Tusquets Editores ha ido publicando desde 1981 los guiones de sus películas,

sus obras de teatro y sus relatos. En 2002 se le concedió el Premio Príncipe de

Asturias. Recientemente, ha sido nombrado doctor honoris causa por la Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona.
