Rafael Reig (Cangas de Onís, 1963) vivió en Colombia durante su infancia, y estudió Filosofía y Letras en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Dio clases de literatura en Nueva York, donde se doctoró, y en varias universidades norteamericanas. Es profesor de la escuela de creación literaria Hotel Kafka. Ganó el VI Premio Tusquets Editores de Novela por Todo está perdonado.
